The art direction is flipping fantastic, and it’s like a mashup of every video game I’ve ever loved. Monster Hunter, Demons Souls, Shadow of the Colossus, with a flavor of AD&D over everything. Psyched as heck.

Been on a fanart kick of all my old favorites, so here’s a sketch of Maximo! There are two Maximo games for ps2 and they are some of my favorite hack-and-slash platformers. Plus its the spiritual successor to Ghosts and Goblins, another series I love, and while Capcom has had some questionable business practices recently they still made almost all of my most cherished characters and series. Maximo: Ghosts to Glory is on PSN, so if you haven’t played it I’d highly recommend it!

Here’s four more card illustrations, these have been really fun to design and draw since I get to experiment with a more detailed painting style rather than the hard outlines and cel-shading that I’m used to working with. I sorta failed hardcore on the daily comic drawing, but I’ve at least been drawing these and other small things during the day to make up for it. Enjoy!
